Empowering Young People Through Life's Challenges with Centrepoint

At the Card Factory Foundation, we believe in the power of young people to overcome adversity and build brighter futures. That's why we've created the Life Moments Fund, a dedicated initiative focused on supporting individuals aged 16-25 during life's most challenging moments. We are proud to partner with Centrepoint, a leading charity in the fight against youth homelessness, to deliver this vital support.

Our Three-Year Commitment
Through the Life Moments Fund, we're investing into the Bright Future Initiative - a comprehensive program designed to create lasting change in the lives of vulnerable young people, through Centrepoint. Over the next three years, our funding of £1.5 million, will support several key areas:

• Specialist Therapy: Providing access to 1-2-1 psychological support for young people with complex needs, helping them to heal from trauma and build emotional stability.    

• Specialised Support Workers: Training Centrepoint staff to provide trauma-informed care, ensuring young people receive the guidance and support they need to thrive.    

• Welcoming and Safe Environments: Transforming hostels into nurturing homes, creating a sense of belonging and security for young residents.    

• Celebrating Life Moments: Ensuring young people can experience the joy of celebration, fostering positive relationships and creating lasting memories.    

 

The Impact of Our Partnership
Our partnership with Centrepoint will have a profound impact, reaching over 31,000 young people and empowering them to:

• Improve their emotional well-being and build confidence.    

• Develop stronger relationships and support networks.    

• Work towards achieving stable homes and independent lives.
